Transportation Improvement Program
Coordinating Resources to Maximize Outcomes
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a coordination and funding document developed by state and local governments and authorities in the TMACOG Transportation Planning Area.

The TIP lists and schedules all specific transportation projects and improvements that will use federal and state transportation funding over the next four state fiscal years (July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2024) and is designed to facilitate spending coordination between the various agencies with jurisdiction over portions of the transportation system in our area.
The purpose of the TIP program is to efficiently and effectively secure and invest available federal transportation funds to improve transportation facilities and services in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
The four-year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is updated and published every two years. It is amended as needed between major updates.
