Board of Trustees
Purpose
The Board of Trustees is responsible for approving fundamental work products of TMACOG: the annual budget and membership fee schedules; the Annual Work Program; and TMACOG policies, plans, and programs, and any amendments to bylaws. Representation on the board is granted according to type of government and type of membership. Members include chairs of commissioners of member counties, four city representatives, five village representatives, and five township representatives. Special districts, schools and universities, and non-governmental members are also represented on the board but elected officials form the majority.
