Lake Erie West Regional Council to open satellite office in Fremont
Lake Erie West hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 8 in Fremont to celebrate the opening of its first satellite office.
FREMONT, Ohio — Lake Erie West Regional Council will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 8, to celebrate the opening of its first satellite office at 219 S. Front Street in Fremont. We invite all members to share this milestone marking the first time in the organization’s 58-year history it has expanded beyond a single location.
“Opening this office is an exciting milestone for Lake Erie West,” said Sandy Spang, Executive Director. “By establishing a presence in Sandusky County, we’re better positioned to build stronger relationships with our members, respond quickly to local needs, and stay connected to the communities we serve. This investment helps us deliver our services more effectively and ensures every part of our region is engaged and represented.”
The new Fremont office reflects Lake Erie West’s strategic commitment to expanding outreach and bringing its programs and services closer to member communities. The additional location will improve access to resources and strengthen partnerships across the region.

- Danny Sanchez, Mayor of Fremont
- Scott Miller, Sandusky County Commissioner
- George Sarantou, Chairman, Lake Erie West Regional Council
