Cleveland State University to offer Leadership Academy
Lake Erie West members eligible for discounted rate
Lake Erie West Regional Council is partnering with Cleveland State University’s Center for Public & Nonprofit Management to bring a nationally recognized leadership development opportunity to our members through the Leadership Academy, a part of the Certified Public Manager® of Ohio (CPM) Program.
Lake Erie West Chief of Staff Rosanna Hoelzle will complete the Leadership Academy this month and speak highly of its effectiveness.
“With so many communities facing increasingly complex challenges, strong administrative skills are more important than ever,” Hoelzle said. “Leadership Academy has strengthened my decision making, collaboration, and leadership skills in the service of the public good. This program provides practical tools that public sector professionals can apply immediately to better serve their organizations and communities.”
This partnership supports leadership growth across local governments, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations and offers Lake Erie West members access to high quality, practical training designed specifically for the public sector.
Lake Erie West members are invited to attend a 30-minute informational webinar on April 29 to learn more about the Leadership Academy, program structure, expectations, and participant experience.
If 10 or more members from Lake Erie West enroll in the program, each will receive a 10 percent tuition discount. If we do not meet that number by June 1, you will have an opportunity to withdraw if you wish.
