We will work with our partners at the Ohio Chapter of the American Planning Association to explore options to reschedule this important conversation on regional housing issues. We will share an update on a rescheduled event as soon as details are available. Registration fees will be refunded.
Engage with state legislators on housing issues and hear questions posed by planning experts during a special edition of TMACOG Tech: Housing Insights & Legislative Connections.
Join us at The Toledo Club from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, October 10 for this event, presented in partnership with APA Ohio (Ohio Chapter of the American Planning Association) as part of its 2024 Planners Advocacy Days.
Housing is one of the most discussed topics in conversations and caucus sessions among TMACOG members, including how communities can attract and regulate development.
Housing policy is expected to be strongly considered during development of the next state budget. Legislators will share their perspectives on housing issues and respond to questions from APA planners.
Our program will include an overview of a recent report from the Ohio Senate’s Select Committee on Housing, which evaluated possible solutions for a widespread demand for affordable housing.

We'll have appetizers and beverages, and a cash bar will be available. This event is free for TMACOG members and APA planners. If you are not a TMACOG or APA member, a $15 registration fee will apply.
The Toledo Club (235 14th St.) has plenty of free parking available on site.
Continuing education credit for American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) will be available through the APA’s AICP Certification Maintenance program online.
