Apply for New Round of Transportation Funds

TMACOG has been allocated an additional $3.4 million for transportation projects and will be soliciting for applications starting in May, 2021. Applications will be reviewed by the TIP committee in August with approval by the Board of Trustees anticipated in October.

TMACOG has been allocated an additional $3.4 million for transportation projects through the Highway Infrastructure Programs – Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (HIP-CRRSAA) of 2021. This funding follows the same eligibility requirements of the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) program. TMACOG will be soliciting for applications starting in May. Applications will be reviewed by the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) committee in August with approval by the Board of Trustees anticipated in October. The projects selected for the usage of the HIP-CRRSAA funds have to be obligated by September 30, 2024. This means that projects will have to have their final plans submitted to ODOT by July of 2024.
