Learn how to apply for a $5,000 grant to celebrate the next major milestone in U.S. history by attending a virtual event, TMACOG Tech: America 250-Ohio Communities Grant, at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 10.
Communities are required to take swift action now to apply for funding that can be used for events and educational programming to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
During a special TMACOG Tech focused on this fast-moving opportunity, Todd Kleismit, executive director of the America 250-Ohio Commission, will share full details about the grant program and outline the steps needed to apply.
Grants will be awarded in two broad categories: Storytelling and Education (Next Generation Citizens). In partnership with Ohio Humanities, America 250-Ohio will manage the program and assist applicants.
