As income to governments falls, elected officials need to know that they are spending their limited funds as efficiently as possible. This half-day seminar is designed to show civic decision-makers how to determine what they are doing right and how to prioritize. Chris Roosen, a consultant for local government effectiveness from Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), will facilitate a presentation and series of breakout sessions designed to help governments learn how to benchmark the level and cost of services, right-size their operations, and collaborate to create efficiencies. |
