| There is growing interest in the economic benefits of modern passenger rail and exciting developments around the Midwest. People interested in new high speed rail service are invited to attend the Passenger Rail Forum luncheon Monday, October 17, at 11:30 a.m.–1:15 p.m. at the Toledo Club, 235 14th Street in Toledo. The program will look at the impressive progress on the Detroit-Ann Arbor-Chicago high speed route with a description of the benefits to local communities. Featured speakers are Tim Hoeffner, Office of Rail, Michigan Department of Transportation; and Michael Benham, Ann Arbor Transportation Authority. |
