Professional development day: "Getting Local Governments Through the Economic Crisis"
All TMACOG members and other elected officials are invited to attend TMACOG’s Professional Development Day, Saturday, March 13, 8:30 a.m. – noon at Owens Community College. This half-day seminar is designed to show civic decision-makers how to determine what they are doing right and how to prioritize. Chris Roosen, a consultant for local government effectiveness from Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), will facilitate a presentation and series of breakout sessions designed to help governments learn how to benchmark the level and cost of services, right-size their operations, and collaborate to create efficiencies.
