The 2010 Train Day Toledo event was the biggest yet. According to Amtrak executive Dave Kuhn, Toledo has the largest and best Train Day celebration in the country outside of Chicago and New York City. More than 4,000 people came through the historic Amtrak station and Dr. Martin Luther King Plaza. Visitors lined up to see inside an Amtrak engine, and passenger and dining cars. The local Lego League presented a skit about maglev trains. Huge model train layouts were a big attraction and visitors took home news about plans for the Ohio Hub of passenger trains.
