Transit Study Available
Because of increasing interest in operation and funding of regional public transit, TMACOG is printing the Regional Transit Study – is Transit Working for our Region. The TMACOG report was completed in 2004 and is the region’s first ever comprehensive look at public transit. The study was done in response to perceived shortcomings in public transportation systems. Typical comments included a lack of options in growth areas and a lack of mobility for seniors, people with disabilities, and other people who use public buses. The study area includes Lucas and Wood counties in Ohio and Erie, Bedford, and Whiteford townships in Monroe County, Michigan.
