2035 Transportation Plan - Update 2011
At public meetings in March, interested people met with TMACOG staff to review our region’s long range transportation plan and to talk about modifications. The 2035 Plan was adopted and approved by TMACOG’s Transportation Council and the TMACOG Board of Trustees in 2007 after two years of study, public input, and analysis. Now TMACOG is asking the community if anything has changed in our environment that would change transportation plans to serve the region. In addition to the March public meetings, people also provided comments through regional libraries and on the TMACOG website. All comments are now being reviewed. Local governments in Lucas, Wood and southern Monroe counties who wish to propose additional plan projects should contact TMACOG as soon as possible.
Staff will complete a systems analysis and work with the Transportation Planning Committee to prepare a revised plan. The draft plan will be made available for public comment. Final approvals will be sought in spring 2011 so the plan can take effect July 1, 2011. For more information, contact Diane Reamer-Evans at 419.241.9155 ext. 117.
